This year's ACC Player of the Year, Cameron Boozer revealed what made St. John's tough to beat in Duke's Sweet 16 matchup.

The Duke Blue Devils entered Friday's matchup against St. John's looking to make their third consecutive Elite Eight appearance. They did just that, defeating the Red Storm by five points in a back-and-forth matchup.

Despite losing the turnover battle for the third straight game, Duke found a way to win, dominating their opponents in the paint (40-28). The Blue Devils also overcame St. John's three-point shooting, as the Red Storm made 13 threes to Duke's five.

Following the game, ACC Player of the Year Cameron Boozer spoke about what made Rick Pitino's team so difficult to play against. "They're one of the most physical teams we played all year," he said. "It's something we talked about every single day, just their physicality, their pressure.

They turn guys over and dominate the boards. That was a big thing we talked about, being strong with the ball and rebounding. " With the win, Duke has moved on to the Elite Eight, scheduled to face No.
