3 Arsenal players nominated for Premier League’s March awards David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori, and Mikel Arteta have all received nominations for the Premier League’s monthly awards for March. David Raya has been nominated for both Player of the Month and Save of the Month , after a strong March for the Gunners goalkeeper.

Raya kept two clean sheets and conceded just one goal (a Piero Hincapie own goal) in Arsenal’s league fixtures in March, and he made some big saves to earn his team three vital wins. The goalkeeper had to wait until the very last moment to dive at Alejandro Garnacho’s cross-turned-shot, but when he did, he made the stop and palmed the ball away to safety.

You can vote for Player of the Month here and Save of the Month here , with voting open until 12:00 BST on Monday, March 30th. Arteta is up against Eddie Howe of Newcastle United (two wins, one defeat), Fabian Hurzeler of Brighton (three wins, one defeat), Regis Le Bris of Sunderland (two wins, one defeat), and David Moyes of Everton (two wins, one defeat).

So Arteta’s team had the best record, but it remains to be seen whether voters favour one of the manager’s of sides with slightly inferior records from lower down the table. Again, voting is open here until 12:00 BST on Monday, March 30th. Calafiori certainly had to show a lot of creativity to make the stop, and you can vote in that category here .
