Real Madrid can buy Victor Muñoz back for €8 million -report

Real Madrid product Víctor Muñoz made his debut with the Spanish national team against Serbia last night and managed to score Spain’s third goal. Muñoz has been performing at a high level for Osasuna all season long, earning his presence in Spain’s squad list. While he keeps raising his value in the market, Real Madrid have an option to buy him back for €8 million, according to a report from MARCA.
This is a very similar clause than the one Real Madrid have on Nico Paz’s contract with Como. Los Blancos will have the ability to buy Muñoz back from Osasuna during the next three seasons, but the price to trigger that option will increase every year. Ultimately, Muñoz’s return to Real Madrid seems unlikely.
He’s playing quality football but Los Blancos have no shortage of options in their attacking line, so Muñoz will likely stay with Osasuna and then Real Madrid could earn 50% of a future transfer if he ever joins a bigger club.
