CBS Sports predicts every Georgia football game in 2026
CBS Sports' John Talty predicted how every game in the Georgia Bulldogs' 2026 regular season will go.
The Georgia Bulldogs are a polarizing college football team entering 2026 and are trying to earn their sixth consecutive SEC championship appearance and fifth College Football Playoff appearance in the last six years. CBS Sports predicted how the Bulldogs' season would go, predicting if people should bet the over or under on every SEC team's win total. The spread for Georgia 's win total is 9 1/2, which is tied for the highest in the SEC with Texas.
However, CBS Sports' John Talty still believes that Georgia will go over it. They have the Bulldogs winning going 11-1 and suffering a loss against the Ole Miss Rebels. CBS provided some analysis on their reasoning.
"The last time Kirby Smart won less than 10 games in a full season was back in 2016, his first year in Athens. With a pretty manageable conference slate in 2026, you should be bullish about the Bulldogs' chances of besting expectations. Even with this high number, I love the Bulldogs to surpass it.
" Georgia's projected loss to Ole Miss is very interesting because the status of Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss' eligibility is still up in the air. Georgia is looking to get revenge after losing to Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl, but the Bulldogs' last trip to Ole Miss (2024) was a disaster. Georgia has a relatively easy schedule in the SEC.
