Asllani’s agent, Ayman Dahmani, says Barcelona have been in touch to talk about a potential transfer.
“Barcelona’s interest in the player is still valid, and there has been contact from the Catalan club,” he told Erem News. It’s reported that Asllani will only leave Hoffenheim if his release clause – which is said to be around €25-30 million euros – is paid in full. Asllani has made no secret of the fact that he likes Barca.
He was spotted watching the Catalans take on Espanyol in La Liga this season and his social media activity this week has again shown him watching Barca in action. The 23-year-old has been in international action this week, scoring in Kosovo’s 4-3 win over Slovakia in their World Cup qualifying semi-final tie.
