Tiger Woods reaction: Donald Trump, Wade Boggs, others on DUI arrest
While Tiger Woods has been talking recently about possibly playing in the Masters, that appears unlikely in the aftermath of the accident and arrest - even if he was uninjured.
By now, we all know Tiger Woods was involved in another auto accident and arrest for DUI. The golf star suffered no injuries in a two-vehicle rollover crash of his Land Rover on Jupiter Island on March 27. But Woods has been charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test by the Martin County Sheriff's Department before being released from jail Friday night and driven home in a private vehicle.
Reaction across the media has been swift and sharp. While Woods has been talking recently about possibly playing in the Masters , that appears unlikely in the aftermath of the accident and arrest - even if he was uninjured. The media circus will be ramped up in Augusta - even if Masters officials control that event like no other - if Woods were to even show up.
Even President Donald Trump weighed in on Tiger after landing in Miami on Friday evening. "I feel so badly, his, uh, he's got some difficulty," Trump said. "There was an accident, and that's all I know.
Very close friend of mine. An amazing person, amazing man ... but some difficulty.
