The Dolphins improved to 15-5 with the win, while Arnold dropped its seventh straight game to fall to 7-10. The Dolphins outfielder Brayden Nelson sac fly pushed across the winning run in the eighth inning after surrendering a late lead in a back-and-forth contest.

Arnold responded with five runs between the fourth and sixth innings to tie the game at 7-7 and force extras. Mosley answered with a run in the seventh to extend the game, then delivered the decisive run in the eighth.

Mosley coach Doug Lee praised Arnold pitcher Jackson Ross for his performance on the mound. In seven innings, Ross threw eight strikeouts and was decisive in crucial moments in the matchup. “He kept us uncomfortable all night and really pitched a great game,” Lee said.
