Incredibly, Korda went without a victory in 2025, but she has clearly come out with real intent on the LPGA Tour this year. The 27-year-old from Bradenton, Florida, looks well positioned to win her second event of the season in Arizona this week.

Korda has posted superb rounds of 63 and 65 to lead the Ford Championship by two strokes from Hyo Joo Kim. The fact that Nelly Korda didn’t win on the LPGA Tour in 2025 seems genuinely unbelievable.

She is so, so good in every department of the game and when she’s on form, it seems like it’s almost impossible for other players to compete with her. Nelly Korda admits to being ‘mesmerized’ by one LPGA Tour player Korda is undoubtedly someone who many LPGA Tour players look up to and admire. However, Korda herself has admitted to being ‘mesmerized’ by one of her fellow pros.

The 27-year-old has played alongside Hyo Joo Kim for four straight rounds now, and she’ll be alongside the South Korean in Arizona once again on Saturday. After her second round, Korda was asked to share her feelings on Hyo Joo Kim. “ Just getting sick of each other now, “ Korda joked.
