Golfer Tiger Woods was released from jail after being arrested March 27 for suspected DUI after a car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida.

Tiger Woods was released from the Martin County Jail late Friday night hours after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a car crash in Jupiter Island on Friday, March 27. Woods and the other driver involved in the two-car crash were not injured. Mark Steinberg, Woods' longtime agent, did not immediately respond to a request for information about Woods' condition.

Woods was arrested after crawling out of his rolled-over vehicle following the two-vehicle crash on Jupiter Island just after 2 p. m. on Friday, March 27, according to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek.

Police found him asleep at the wheel of his damaged 2015 black Mercedes-Benz on Military Trail with the engine running. In the Jupiter Island incident on Friday, March 27, in addition to his DUI charge, Woods is also facing charges for property damage and refusal to submit to lawful test.

Woods was not under the influence of alcohol – his breathalyzer test registered a 0. 00, police said – but deputies determined Woods was impaired. He did not submit to a urine test.
