Social media reacts to Alabama's season-ending loss vs. Michigan
Alabama saw their season come to an end Friday night with a Sweet 16 loss against Michigan. Here is how social media reacted to the loss.
The Alabama Crimson Tide 's 2025-26 season has officially come to an end following a 90-77 defeat Friday night to the Michigan Wolverines in the Sweet 16. A game Alabama entered as a sizable underdog against the Midwest Region's No. 1 seed, the Crimson Tide started the matchup very well, especially on the offensive end where they led for a vast majority of the first half.
Michigan's size eventually played a role in the second half though, which allowed the Wolverines to pull away down the stretch to secure the win. In the loss, Labaron Philon Jr. scored a game-high 35 points in what could've potentially been his final game while a member of the Crimson Tide, while Latrell Wrightsell Jr.
