2026 NFL Draft: Saints scouting Utah tight end Dallen Bentley
The New Orleans Saints are picking up the pace with their pre-draft meetings, and are reportedly showing interest in a fast-rising tight end.
Heading into the 2026 NFL Draft, based on the way the roster is currently constructed, the New Orleans Saints have quite a few gaps left to fill if they wish to compete for a division title in 2026. Kellen Moore and Tyler Shough are leading the renaissance after multiple years of less-than-optimal play from the previous regime. Now, getting weapons for Shough and building a competent defense are the primary focuses.
A name that has popped up in recent discussions pre-draft is Utah tight end Dallen Bentley, who was recently reported to be the subject of interest from the Saints, including multiple visits. Bentley is an extremely impressive and well-rounded prospect who broke out onto the scene in a big way this past season. After only posting 20 receiving yards total in his first two seasons, 2025 was a completely different story, as he put together 48 receptions for 620 yards and 6 touchdowns, good for 12.
