Mark Pope has brought on Keegan Brown as the Director of Roster Management, a man Pope worked with closely at BYU. Then on Friday, Pope and the Cats finally got on the board with their first class of 2026 commit in point guard Mason Williams, the son of former NBA Champion Mo Williams. It’s good momentum for the Cats, but could they look to make another late splash with a Bluegrass product?

Reigning Kentucky Mr. Basketball, Jake Feldhaus, has asked for his NLI release from Belmont following a coaching change down in the Music City, according to NextUpRecruits . If the name sounds familiar, it’s because it is with Big Blue Nation.

Jake’s family is rich when it comes to Kentucky Basketball. Jake’s grandfather, Allen Feldhaus Sr. , played for Adolph Rupp from 1959-62.
