The 19-year-old has struggled for regular game time under both Maresca and Liam Rosenior, and faces a difficult decision in regards to his future this summer. Tottenham interested in Josh Acheampong Acheampong signed a five year contract at the end of 2024, and has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season. However, the teenager has played just one minute in the last five Premier League games, despite Chelsea’s defensive issues.

The Blues are said to have turned down big money for Acheampong in January, who can play at right back and centre back. Rosenior has described Acheampong as an amazing talent, and he’s reportedly attracting interest from a number of clubs. According to Falk, Tottenham are one of three Premier League sides showing interest in Acheampong, who’s said to not be fully satisfied with his current situation.

“Yes, we still have three rumours that we haven’t been able to fully verify yet, so it’s neither clearly true nor clearly not true, but we still want to talk about them,” he told Bayern Insider. “One of them is Josh Acheampong from Chelsea’s youth setup. He keeps being linked to Bayern, and you could say he’s an interesting player.

“Clubs like Newcastle, Tottenham, and West Ham are all said to have interest. “He’s not entirely satisfied at Chelsea, isn’t getting much playing time, and could be an option for Bayern. And they are indeed looking at that position.
