It's been a busy offseason so far for the Commanders.

Five wins, 12 losses, to quote former Washington head coach Steve Spurrier, "not very good. " So, what changes have the Commanders made since the completion of the 2025 season? Washington general manager Adam Peters wasted no time.

Monday, January 5, Peters began his offseason work by signing players not on rosters, waiving Commanders players, making coaching staff changes, and then signing free agents and extending a few Commanders already on the roster.
