Legends visit the BVB fan HQ in Liverpool First, the BVB legends – including Mitch Langerak, Paul Lambert, Antonio da Silva, Jan Koller, Dede, Olivier Kirch and Karl-Heinz Riedle – visited Anfield and went on a tour of the ground, before heading to “Hotel Anfield”, a pub about a five-minute walk away, which normally serves as a meeting place for Liverpool fans. However, due to tomorrow’s legends’ match, the LFC supporters shared their premises and decked them out in black and yellow for the nearly 300 BVB fans. In a friendly atmosphere, BVB and Liverpool fans came together, chatted and got themselves in the mood for tomorrow’s match.
BVB player Antonio da Silva emphasised: “I was surprised to see so many BVB fans here. It gives you extra motivation to win tomorrow’s match. Many thanks to the BVB fans!
” Mitch Langerak added: “It’s impressive that so many people are here in Liverpool. It’s an away game and yet we have so many fans here. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s match and to playing in front of our fans.
” Roversa and Gasper, who had travelled all the way from Paderborn, were also thrilled by the fan HQ in Liverpool: “Everything here is absolutely brilliant. It’s really cool that we have a central hub right by the stadium where we can go and meet other fans,” said Roversa. “We’re always delighted to meet new BVB fans – it doesn’t get any better than this,” added Gasper.
Tomorrow is the big day: at 15:00 GMT (16:00 CET), the BVB legends will face the legends of Liverpool FC.
