High-Speed Pass Turns Into Rollover Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said Woods was traveling at a “high rate of speed” in a 30 mph zone when he approached a truck towing a trailer. The truck was slowing to turn into a driveway when Woods attempted to overtake it. That decision is where everything went sideways.

Photos from the scene show the SUV heavily damaged and resting on its driver’s side — a clear sign of how violent the incident became in a matter of seconds. Despite the severity of the crash, no injuries were reported , which officials acknowledged was a fortunate outcome given the circumstances and the narrow roadway.
