No. 1 Texas softball continues its success after a weekend sweep of Baylor and beating Texas State in some midweek action. But the Longhorns have to play one of its main rivals this weekend in the softball edition of the Lone Star Showdown.
No. 16 Texas A&M is making the trip to Austin for the first meeting between between both programs since the Longhorns joined the SEC. The Aggies (23-9, 5-1) last weekend swept Kentucky and run-ruled Sam Houston 18-3 in midweek action Tuesday.
