Full injury report for Joel Embiid, Sixers vs. Hornets on the road
Here is the full injury report for Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers as they take on the Charlotte Hornets on the road.
The Philadelphia 76ers will begin a 3-game road trip on Saturday when they take on the Charlotte Hornets. It is an important matchup as the Eastern Conference standings are all jumbled up at this stage of the season. Every game is hugely important as the Sixers in an effort to climb out of the play-in.
As far as the injury report is concerned, Tyrese Maxey (right finger tendon strain) has been upgraded to questionable which is a big development. He continues to take steps forward as he prepares for a return. He has not played since March 7 due to the injury.
Kelly Oubre Jr. (left elbow sprain) is listed as questionable as he looks to make his return to the floor for the first time since March 10. He stated at practice on Friday that he is determined to play in this one so that would be a big help for this group if he can.
As for Joel Embiid (right oblique strain), the big fella is not listed. He made his return in Wednesday's win over the Chicago Bulls following a 13-game absence and had 35 points as he made it look easy in every sense of the word. Johni Broome (right knee surgery recovery) is sidelined.
