Scotland under-21s held by Czech Republic

Scotland under-21s were held to a goalless draw by the Czech Republic at Dens Park, a result which does not advance their case to make next summer's European Championships. Dundee centre-back Luke Graham was named player of the match on his home ground as Scotland put in a stout defensive performance, while not creating enough chances. Dunfermline Athletic's Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen felt he should have had a stoppage-time penalty after a challenge from behind by Slavia Prague's Tomas Jelinek.

But Scotland had to settle for a point which keeps them third in Group B, behind the Czechs on goal difference and five behind leaders Portugal having played a game more than both those sides. The nine group winners and the best runner-up will qualify directly for the finals in Albania and Serbia in 2027, while the remaining eight runners-up will advance to the play-offs.
