Reynoldsburg's Lord Ryan Ramos named OSU Wexner Boys Athlete of the Week

Reynoldsburg volleyball player Lord Ryan Ramos was selected the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Boys Athlete of the Week for March 16-22. 6% of the vote and was followed by Thomas Worthington volleyball player Alex Ondo, who received 42. 6%. Also nominated were Columbus Academy basketball player Jason Singleton, Hilliard Bradley basketball players Kypton Norris and Jayden Reed-Davis and Westerville North basketball player Elijah McCree.
Ondo, the runner-up, had 23 assists, 10 kills and four digs in a 25-16, 25-11, 25-19 win over Olentangy Berlin and 26 assists, eight kills and six digs in a 25-12, 25-21, 17-25, 25-21 win over Worthington Kilbourne. Singleton had 43 points, 15 rebounds, seven steals in five assists in two Division V state tournament games, a semifinal win over Zanesville West Muskingum and finals loss to Cleveland Heights Lutheran East. He had26 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals vs West Muskingum and 17 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals in the final.
Norris had 20 points, six rebounds and a steal in a 44-42 win over Pickerington Central in a Division I state semifinal. He also scored 20 points in a 57-46 win over Newark in a regional final. Reed-Davis made the game-winning layup as time expired in a Division I state semifinal against Pickerington Central.
