Sherrone Moore arrest video released, shows moment ex-coach detained
The short video, obtained by TMZ, shows a clearly upset Moore being handcuffed after he left the apartment of a woman with whom he had an affair.
Newly released body camera footage shows the moments law enforcement officers arrested former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore last year. The footage, published Friday, March 27 by TMZ , shows a clearly distraught Moore interacting with police on Dec. 10, the day he was fired by the university.
Other law enforcement records show police detained Moore shortly after he left the apartment of Paige Shiver, his 32-year-old assistant with whom he had a roughly two-year affair. The footage is just over three minutes. It shows officers standing next to Moore as he gets out of the driver's seat of a large black SUV.
He appears to be crying as he raises his hands over his head. He is handcuffed and taken to a police vehicle. Additional footage from inside the police vehicle show Moore speaking with an officer.
"I just got fired," Moore said in response to a question. šØ EXCLUSIVE: Sherrone Moore body cam shows the ex-Michigan coach crying during his arrest. pic.
