UNC basketball loses staff member to Wes Miller, Charlotte
Former UNC basketball standout Marcus Paige is leaving to join Wes Miller at Charlotte.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are in the early stages of their head coach search and while things have been relatively quiet, it's a process that will take some time. But on Friday, there was some coaching news regarding the previous staff. Per On3 , assistant coach Marcus Paige is leaving the program and will join Wes Miller's staff at Charlotte.

From there, he decided to go into coaching and was added to Hubert Davis' staff. Paige quickly became a favorite of the players and is thought of as a rising coaching candidate . It's assumed that Paige will have a bigger role at Charlotte, gaining more experience and climbing the coaching ranks.
