Report: Rams send rep to visit athletic LB prospect Jake Golday
The Rams are showing interest in Cincinnati LB Jake Golday, sending a representative to meet with him before the draft.
Linebacker is one of the few remaining positions of need for the Los Angeles Rams, as they’re likely seeking an upgrade from Omar Speights alongside Nate Landman. This draft class is loaded with intriguing prospects, one of them being Cincinnati’s Jake Golday. He’s mostly viewed as a Day 2 prospect but he could sneak into the end of the first round.
The Rams are showing interest in Golday, reportedly doing an off-site visit with the Cincinnati linebacker before the draft. According to Arye Pulli of On SI, the Rams sent a representative to meet with Golday. The Rams don’t bring prospects in for pre-draft visits, so this off-site meeting is a way for them to get to know a player.
The #Rams sent a representative to meet with Cincinnati LB Jake Golday, source said — something the team does in place of “30” visits. Golday also a visit scheduled with the #Bengals . It'll be considered a local visit, though they’ll treat it as an official 30 visit.
