He is also regarded as โMr. 305โ by many. That said, when it came time for the FIU Panthers to rename their football stadium, the rapper jumped at the opportunity.
He officially acquired the naming rights to the stadium on August 6th, 2024 and renamed the facilities to โPitbull Stadium. โ It was a five-year deal where he would pay $1. 2 million annually, totaling $6 million.
Within the contract details, he was required to post 12 social media posts a year promoting FIU athletics, appear at a minimum of one athletic fundraising event, and create an anthem for FIU athletics. Itโs been reported by Newsbreak that heโs only posted eight times to his social media, has not shown up to any fundraising events, and has not created an anthem for the school.
