Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner, Tyler Lockett among notable free agent ex-Seahawks
Maybe not all of these Seahawks will continue playing in 2026.

Focus is on the NFL Draft in less than a month, with any free agent signed on the Monday after the draft no longer counting in the compensatory pick formula.
For the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, everyone who entered this offseason as a free agent is now accounted for , so there’s really not much more you should expect from them over the next few months. There are, however, a lot of familiar unsigned former Seahawks on the market, ranging from recent depth pieces to franchise legends who were key to Seattle’s first Super Bowl win. Exempting the likes of Quandre Diggs and Shaquill Griffin, who were on the Seahawks practice squad before it was dissolved, here are the “outside free agent former Seahawks” still looking for a new team… we assume.

Wagner is certainly going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the waters have become much murkier for Russ, but they’re both bare minimum in the Seahawks Ring of Honor at some point in time. Another season for Bobby would put him on course to be the NFL’s all-time tackles leader, so why wouldn’t he give it one last season?
Wilson doesn’t seem to be thinking about retirement, but this is the first time in his career he’s clearly not in real consideration to be a starting QB anymore. Lockett has had the brutal misfortune of being drafted after Seattle’s Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots and getting let go before Seattle’s Super Bowl return and subsequent triumph. Add him to the list of future Ring of Honor members, hopefully.
