Texas basketball's Nic Codie reveals plans for next season
The Longhorns shouldn't have to worry about replacing Nic Codie next season. The sophomore forward tipped his hand after the Sweet 16 loss.
With the Texas Longhorns men's basketball March Madness run in the books , head coach Sean Miller is beginning his preparations for next season. While the roster is expected to see some turnover, there will be a few returning faces. That includes Nic Codie, who said following the Longhorns' loss to Purdue that he will be back for another run.
Codie's return should provide Texas with a boost. He is coming off a sophomore campaign in which he set career highs in multiple categories. That includes games played with 24, points per game with 4.
1, and rebounds per game with 3. 1. While those statistics did not lead the team, Codie showed that he could be an effective piece while taking on a bigger workload.
