UConn starting five previews Michigan State Sweet 16 matchup
UConn sent their starting five to the podium to preview Michigan State in the Sweet 16.
Michigan State basketball is in Washington D. C. for the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, where the Spartans will face off with the Connecticut Huskies in the Sweet 16.
Upon their arrival, the Spartans held their traditional open practice on Thursday, with a media session that ensued and UConn did the same. Following Dan Hurley's press conference with the media, the Huskies head coach sent five of his players to podium to speak to the media. UConn had their starting five talk to the media, with Silas Demary, Solo Ball, Braylon Mullins, Alex Karaban and Tarris Reed speaking about the Michigan State matchup.
The players drew on their previous encounters with Michigan State, the players, and what the keys to the game are going to be from the Huskies' viewpoint.
