"I feel like I've done everything I can, but it's not up to me," Simpson said after his pro day about his possibilities of being a first-round draft pick. "I just know that wherever I go, I'm gonna give it my all and make sure I'll put my best foot forward. " Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza is widely regarded as the top quarterback in the 2026 NFL draft.
