Final perfect bracket in March Madness belongs to an 8th grader
Out of 40 million men's and women's March Madness brackets, 14-year-old Otto Schellhammer is still perfect.
Out of the 40 million (!!! ) brackets put together for men's and women's March Madness as the NCAA tournaments have reached the Sweet 16, there is just ONE that's perfect . It belongs to Otto Schellhammer, a 14-year-old eighth grader from the Pittsburgh suburbs.
It's in the women's tournament. Oh, and he's far from an expert. From the Associated Press : โI know people say this a lot about March Madness, but it was 100% luck.
I know basically nothing about any type of basketball. " He'll be rooting for Texas to win it all, and we'll all be rooting against the improbable odds of a perfect bracket . Here's more from Schellhammer on CBS Evening News: After more than 40 million NCAA tournament brackets were filled out across both the menโs and womenโs games, there is just one perfect bracket remaining, and it was created by an 8th grader in Pennsylvania.
