The Georgia Bulldogs will be without one of their early enrollees this spring. Lawson Luckie's younger brother is out with a knee injury

The Georgia Bulldogs will be without early enrollee Carter Luckie for spring practice. Luckie, a three-star signee in the class of 2026, suffered a knee injury that required surgery during his high school season with Norcross High School and is still recovering. Luckie was the No.

54 defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting cycle and is the brother of Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie. "We've got a couple guys that are obviously out for spring dealing with injuries," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said the Bulldogs' began spring practice. "Carter Luckie, who we got from high school, had knee surgery in high school and will be out for the spring.

" Luckie is not expected to play a major role of this Georgia team as a true freshman, especially since he is recovering from a knee injury. Luckie at least has his older brother to lean on as he adjusts to life in college. The 6-foot-5, 265-pound defender is one of three defensive linemen that Georgia is missing this spring.

Unlike Luckie, Georgia defensive linemen Jordan Hall and Gabe Harris are both expected to start for Georgia when healthy. Both Hall and Harris are out for the spring. Overall, Georgia has six players that are out for the spring (at least the vast majority of it).
