Tom Izzo comments on Charles Barkley defending his coaching style

Last week, a clip of Charles Barkley praising Michigan State basketball head coach Tom Izzo's coaching style went viral. In an era where coaches seem to be afraid of scrutiny from either the media, the players, or the players' families if they hold their players accountable, Barkley praised Izzo for doing things his way and trying to help his players reach their potential both on and off the court. In his pre-Sweet Sixteen press conference, Izzo was asked about the comments Barkley made about him, and he gave a thoughtful response in return: "Now we’re just supposed to hug and kiss everybody.
