Heading into the 2026 season, here are the biggest 49ers bargains based on early fantasy expert consensus rankings

Fantasy expert consensus rankings (“ECR”) are starting to pop up across the Internet, giving managers an early glimpse into how the market might value hundreds of players this summer. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, here are the biggest 49ers bargains based on ECR. Two years ago, Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo offered spot-start streamability when Christian McCaffrey was sidelined.

If you snagged both backups very late in your draft (an easy thing to do with Mason’s RB ADP at 56 and Guerendo’s at 73), you earned two steals. The same strategy should apply this season, with Guerendo (RB80 ECR) and Jordan James (RB99 ECR) essentially undraftable. Unless San Francisco secures a handcuff upgrade in the NFL draft, McCaffrey’s two leading backups are must-draft bench stashes.

George Kittle is also flying on the radar, and we’ll see if it continues. Recovering from a torn Achilles in January, the 32-year-old is on the cusp of the downside of his career. But his per-game production has been off the charts for nearly a decade.

He hasn’t finished outside the top six in fantasy points per contest since 2017. So why is his ECR TE16? Clearly his injury recovery has generated early caution.
