While away on international duty with Portugal, Conceição was asked about the potential move ahead of a friendly against Mexico, though his response was what you would expect in such a situation: “I know people talk about a big club, but I play for a big club where I am happy.
“At the moment I am only focused on these two games with the national team and then I will focus on the final stretch of the season to help my club as much as possible. ” Juventus currently sit fifth in the Serie A table, and went out of the Champions League to Galatasaray in the play-off stage. Conceição feels he has a lot to contribute to Juventus’ success this season and in the future: “I am at a big club where the pressure to win is very high.
I just have to keep working and contribute with goals and assists. “My objective is to help with goals and assists, that is what I try to do. I must continue every day to show that I have the ability to help the national team and be helped by them to keep improving.
” The rumored price tag for the winger is £52 million after joining the Italian giants after a loan from Porto for €32 million last year. While Conceição is one of a number of rumored connections to “replace” Mohamed Salah, it’s worth noting that more than one player might be needed to replace the Egyptian’s peak output.
