The spring football league has a new look, with new teams in Orlando, Louisville and Columbus replacing San Antonio, Memphis and Michigan for 2026, and the elimination of four-team conferences in favor of league-wide standings. Among the highlights in Week 1 are the coaching debuts for some familiar names: AJ McCarron with the Birmingham Stallions, Ted Ginn Jr. with the Columbus Aviators and Chris Redman with the Louisville Kings.
