After re-signing with Seattle, WR Jake Bobo discussed remaining with the Seahawks and the Jaguars' offer.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made an attempt to sign Seattle wide receiver Jake Bobo to a reported multi-year deal. But instead, Bobo will remain with the Seahawks. With three years of NFL experience, Bobo was a restricted free agent.

By Seattle placing the right of first refusal tender on him, Bobo was able to negotiate with other teams, but the Seahawks would have the opportunity to match any offer, which they did in this instance. Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer would report that the Jaguars offered Bobo a two-year deal worth $5. 5 million.

Bobo also had the opportunity to earn another $1. 5 million in incentives. Recently, Bobo discussed re-signing with Seattle and how the last week-plus unfolded for him.

"I didn't want to go anywhere else," Bobo said of staying in Seattle, via Seahawks. com . "Obviously, it looked like there was a shot I was going to end up in Jacksonville, but in the back of my mind, I was hoping the guys upstairs would make something happen, and they did.
