Caldwell's Dylan Schott headlines area All-Ohio selections with Division VI First Team honors

COLUMBUS โ Caldwell senior standout Dylan Schott stands at the front of the local pack with the release of the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association All-Ohio boys basketball teams for the 2025-26 season on the hardwood. Schott reeled in First Team honors in Division VI, shooting a highly efficient 56% from the field, along with a 20. 7 points per game scoring average which served as the highlight of the area's post-season accolades.
"Dylan is a made player who has lived in the gym the last four years," Caldwell head coach Clint Crane said. "He has a tremendous skill levelโand is top three in career three-point percentage in Ohio history. " Schott's First Team selection was the high-water mark for a strong showing across the Daily Jeffersonian coverage area, which saw multiple area players earning All-Ohio recognition for their high level performances during the 2025-26 season.
In Division IV selections, Cambridge senior Garrett Carpenter (24. 3 ppg) and John Glenn senior Stehl Bates (20. 4 ppg) both received Second Team honors following impressive seasons on the hardwood.
