However, the most interest in the 31-year-old could be coming from Italy: Leon Goretzka will be a free agent this summer, so Napoli are the latest contenders for his signature, joining Milan, Inter and Arsenal.

Milan and Inter are ready to duel, but the Corriere dello Sport now confirms that Napoli are keeping a close eye on the situation too. It would be the second consecutive summer picking up a veteran for free, after they snapped up Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City. Other clubs intrigued by Goretzka include Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal.

At first, it seemed like Goretzka might just take a deal to ride off into the sunset. Now, though, this is starting to feel like Goretzka could get a very nice contract, while going to a very desirable location.
