Most teams struggle to find even one high-level pass rusher. The Texans have one on each side, which makes life extremely difficult for opposing offenses. Where Houston could look to improve is along the interior.
They did bring back veteran defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins , an above-average player, along with Naquan Jones , but there’s still room to strengthen that group. Tommy Togiai stepped up in a big way last season, and it feels like he could develop into a real difference-maker moving forward. The Texans also signed Logan Hall , a former second-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.
