The Baltimore Orioles outfielder failed to homer for the first time since 2019 during Thursday’s 2-1 win against the Minnesota Twins.
O’Neill finished the game 1-for-2 with a walk and a run. Entering the start of the 2026 season, the 30-year-old O’Neill had homered in six straight Opening Days. He set the mark in 2024 after breaking the record of four previously held by Todd Hundley (1994-97), Gary Carter (1977-80) and Yogi Berra (1955-58).
