According to Mundo Deportivo, the Barcelona star was replaced because he “felt pain in his right leg.

” He will now undergo medical tests to determine if he has picked up an injury. Barcelona therefore face an anxious wait to see if Raphinha is OK. The forward has had injury problems throughout the season and the last thing the Catalans will want is for him to be sidelined again ahead of some key fixtures.

Brazil are due to play again on Tuesday against Croatia in another friendly and players will then return to their club sides to continue the domestic season. Barcelona face Atletico Madrid in their next La Liga fixture and then face Diego Simeone’s side again in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final before a league clash with Espanyol. The next few weeks are therefore crucial to Barcelona and Flick will want his best players available for all the games.
