4-star Oregon target sets impending commitment date
A key Oregon target, four-star safety Myles Baker, is set to commit in a matter of days.
The Oregon Ducks will have an opportunity to add to their 2027 recruiting class in a few short days as another target gets set to come off the board. Four-star safety Myles Baker from Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, California, will announce his commitment live on March 29 on the Rivals. com YouTube channel.
The 6-foot-1 safety will choose between a group of finalists that includes the Ducks, as well as Alabama, Cal, LSU and Stanford. He will announce his decision on Sunday at 10 a. m.
PT. Baker's decision feels like it could go either way, but he does seem happy with the Ducks, who have been recruiting him for a while now. Even with the change in defensive coordinator to Chris Hampton , the Ducks have remained very involved in Baker's commitment.
โIโve been to Oregon multiple times and itโs always a great time there," Baker told Rivals . "Coach Lanning came down to visit with me and my family back in January and I really like him and the rest of the staff. I love the culture of the program, the facilities and theyโre a winning program and I donโt see that changing any time soon.
