Dan Orlovsky proposes a trade that lands the Eagles Maxx Crosby
ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky pitches a trade idea that adds Crosby to the Eagles roster.
There's an old saying, something about not being a doctor but playing one on television. Here's a question that a smarter medical mind may know the answer to. The Baltimore Ravens reportedly lost interest in Maxx Crosby because of a potentially degenerative knee issue , but it's the NFL.
Forget the surgery for a second (which probably contributes). Don't the Philadelphia Eagles and every team have to worry about that with every aging player? Something tells us that's common in stars who have played longer and are aging.
Again, no one's a doctor here. It's a question. In the meantime, while you mull that over, here's something else worth considering.
The eyeball test tells us that if Crosby were added to the Eagles roster, he'd be the best edge rusher on the depth chart upon arrival, bad knee and all. Well, it seems that doesn't matter anyway. After all, the Eagles wouldn't be able to afford him because of his massive cap number, right?
