Will Wade taking the LSU men's basketball coaching job is entirely his right and perfectly understandable for how things ended during his first stint in Baton Rouge. However, it's just natural he's about to be persona non grata at NC State. After just one season with the Wolfpack after coming over from McNeese State, Wade leaves to rejoin a Tigers program he's coached previously.
Wade's biggest blunder from his brief NC State stint might not have even been his idea. After his hire, Wade recreated the iconic Jim Valvano NC State photo (the one with him in the gymnasium with the basketballs) only to leave the school after just one season. Obviously, Jimmy V is a NC State legend.
Wade... is not. Whoever scheduled this photo, whether it was Wade's idea or NC State's, has egg on their face after such a flop.
