Browns dump cold water on Myles Garrett trade rumors; doesn't add up
While ESPN's Adam Schefter states the Browns told him they aren't trading Myles Garrett, their reasoning just doesn't hold value
The Cleveland Browns re-worked the language in the contract of Myles Garrett, making it possible for them to trade their All-Pro, first-ballot Hall of Famer, and two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. It has sparked chaos within the fanbase and on social media. However, according to one NFL insider, the Browns are still not open to dealing Garrett, just as they were not open to it last offseason when he put in his trade request.
ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that he has information that leads him to believe that Cleveland is not moving on from their franchise cornerstone. Here is what Schefter had to say : "Right away I called the Browns, and I'm like 'What's going on here? ' And they were like, 'We are 100 percent definitely not trading him.
' ... I will say this: They were adamant about it. Adamant about it.
They were like 'Don't even bring it up and dignify it. We're not trading him. ' ...
