Oregon in the lead to land 2027 4-star TE Charles Davis

•Sky F1

The Ducks are surging in the recruitment of 2027 four-star tight end Charles Davis, one of the more talented pass catchers in his class.

Tight end has been a strong position for the Oregon Ducks in recent seasons, as there's a good chance that three straight NFL drafts will feature a Duck being selected in the first two rounds. Terrance Ferguson started the trend with being selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2025 second round, while Kenyon Sadiq (2026) and Jamari Johnson (2027) very well could be first rounders. The talent isn't drying up anytime soon, as 2026 five-star tight end Kendre Harrison may be the next to carry the torch.

Dan Lanning and Co. still aren't satisfied, as they're reportedly one of the favorites to land 2027 four-star tight end Charles Davis as well. Davis is scheduled for an official visit in Eugene on June 14.

The biggest competitor in Davis' recruitment are the USC Trojans, who are also slated to host Davis on a visit. UCLA and Nebraska remain in the mix as well for the talented tight end recruit. Two schools are currently setting the pace while one holds the edge for 4-star TE Charles Davis, writes @samspiegs šŸ‘€ Intel: https://t.
