Colts hosting QB draft prospect on official 30 pre-draft visit

The Indianapolis Colts are taking a closer look at one of the more highly rated quarterbacks in the 2026 NFL draft. While appearing on the NFL Network, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier shared that he will be making an official 30 pre-draft visit with the Colts . “ I’ve got a lot of stuff coming up ," Nussmeier said, via Pro Football Talk .

"I’ve got the Jets coming in the next couple of days here. I’ve got the Rams coming into town. I’m heading out to Indianapolis.

" After a very productive 2024 season, Nussmeier was unable to take that next step in 2025. As he detailed recently, an early-season abdominal injury seemed to derail the entire year. Nussmeier entered last season as a potential top pick in this year's draft, but that is no longer the case.
