The Boston Celtics were playing from behind for most of their eventual 119-109 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder at TD Garden on Wednesday (March 25. ) night. But near the end of the contest's penultimate frame, the Celtics flipped the script on the Thunder to take control of the tilt, and never relinquished it despite a strong push from OKC in the fourth quarter.
In their win vs. the reigning champs, Boston won the shot margin 81-80, and held the Thunder to just 32 percent form beyond the arc while connecting on 44 percent of their own 3s. The Celtics got to the line more (29-26) and converted more free throws there (86 percent to 81) while also winning the battle of the boards 43-35.
