Kirby Lee-Imagn Images It seems that Tom Brady just can’t quit being a quarterback in the NFL, and he recently considered a return to the league. However, the idea was quickly shut down by a far higher power. It’s hard to deny that the New England Patriots legend is among the top three best QBs of all-time, if not the greatest to ever play the position in the NFL.
He is a 15-time Pro Bowler. A three-time MVP. He has reached the 10 Super Bowls with two different teams and took home the Lombardi Trophy seven times.
The man who played 23 seasons in the league is first in all-time passing yards (89,214), completions (7,753), and passing touchdowns (649). Simply put, no player has done more winning in the NFL than Brady. But that level of success can be addictive.
Brady likely ruined his marriage by returning for one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022, and despite that fact, it seems the nearly 50-year-old quarterback was contemplating a comeback recently. But the idea was not well-received by officials at the NFL offices. NFL ‘didn’t like’ Tom Brady’s comeback idea Kirby Lee-Imagn Images “I actually have inquired, and [the NFL] doesn’t like that idea very much,” Brady told CNBC .
