Fresh off a 14-win regular season and berth in Super Bowl LX, the Patriots are not only not favored to win the AFC East next season, but the Buffalo Bills are currently the heaviest favorites to win a division in the NFL. DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Bills' odds of winning the division in 2026 at -145, while New England's odds are +150. Unsurprisingly, both the New York Jets (+1800) and Miami Dolphins (+2800) are currently huge underdogs.

Buffalo has had a busy offseason thus far, replacing longtime head coach Sean McDermott with Joe Brady. The Bills also acquired star wide receiver D. J.

Moore in a trade with the Chicago Bears in early March. The Patriots, meanwhile, have landed defensive end/linebacker Dre'Mont Jones, wide receiver Romeo Doubs and Pro Bowl safety Kevin Byard, among others. Some of New England's departures include linebacker Jahlani Tavai, defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga and tight end Austin Hooper.
