Jonathan Taylor is a player that the New England Patriots had a chance to build around in 2020. Taylor is not a free agent or on the trade block this offseason. However, the Patriots had another avenue to add the former First-Team All-Pro running back in 2020.
New England selected safety Kyle Dugger with the No. 37 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Dugger became a full-time starter for the Patriots in his second season in the league in 2021.
